SoundCraft changelog

The editor on this site runs SoundCraft 0.8.0 from October 17, 2026, with the community Agent patch. Each guide names the version it was written for; the changes since then are below.

October 18, 2026 — Homepage, AI panel and pricing

The homepage now introduces the free audio workstation and SoundCraft AI together, with a dark theme across public pages. The persistent AI panel shares access settings between supported session edits and catalog-based mixing advice. Direct editing now works with your own key as well as Craft credits; only text notes and numeric metadata reach the model, never audio samples.

The pricing page presents free editing, own-key access and one-time credit packs together. Credit prices, native Save/Import/Bounce behavior and the existing community editor build are unchanged.

October 18, 2026 — Audio editing Agent

Use the Agent to adjust real track volume, pan and mute, audio clip gain and linear fades, with native undo. Existing Craft Apps credits apply. Stop playback before editing; grouped or automated tracks and locked or complex clips are protected. The Mixing assistant remains available for how-to questions, with credits or your own key. Save your session as a .scraftz download and audition the results. Community build details.
